EPL CUP: Iwobi to clash with Victor Moses in semi final

It will be a battle of brothers of some sort in one of the Carabao Cup semi-final game.
Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi will be up against Victor Moses following Wednesday's draw which pitched Arsenal against Chelsea.

On their part, Bristol City's reward for overcoming Manchester United is to face the other Manchester team who are the current EPL league leaders.The first leg of the semi-finals will take place on the week commencing January 8, the second a fortnight later.
Manchester City and Chelsea will host the first legs.
Arsenal battled into the last four by beating London rivals West Ham 1-0 while on Tuesday Chelsea joined them in the hat following a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth on Wednesday.
The 2017-18 season EFL surprise package Bristol City beat holders Manchester United 2-1 to reach the last four on Wednesday, 24 hours after Man City needed the heroics of Claudio Bravo to knock out Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa's Leicester on penalties.

Kwara govt confirms new cases of COVID-19

Kwara State Government has confirmed that it has recorded two new cases of COVID-19 in the State. The State Government on its Twitter page said the total number of COVID-19 cases is now 11. Recall that the NCDC, on Thursday confirmed 108 new cases in Nigeria, bringing the total number in the country to 981. It said it recorded 78 cases in Lagos, 14 in FCT, 5 in Ogun, 4 in Gombe, 3 in Borno, 2 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Kwara and 1 in Plateau State. Kwara government tweeted, ”As at 23 April 2020. Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed ”Total test done – 278, total confirmed cases – 11, no of active cases – 9 ”Discharged – 2, no of negative test – 187, no of pending test – 80, death -0.”
