Spanish club Barcelona have reportedly contacted reigning Premier League champions Chelsea over the signing of their star Brazilian defender David Luiz.
David Luiz has been left out of Chelsea's squad since the end of October with many reports claiming that the Blues' manager Antonio Conte no longer needs him in his team.
The former Paris-Saint-Germain star is currently injured, but he has lost his place in the Blues' squad to youngster Andreas ChristensenClubs like Real Madrid and Arsenal are said to be interested in signing David Luiz from Chelsea next year, but according to Telefoot, Barcelona are the only side who have contacted the Stamford Bridge landlords.

Kwara govt confirms new cases of COVID-19

Kwara State Government has confirmed that it has recorded two new cases of COVID-19 in the State. The State Government on its Twitter page said the total number of COVID-19 cases is now 11. Recall that the NCDC, on Thursday confirmed 108 new cases in Nigeria, bringing the total number in the country to 981. It said it recorded 78 cases in Lagos, 14 in FCT, 5 in Ogun, 4 in Gombe, 3 in Borno, 2 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Kwara and 1 in Plateau State. Kwara government tweeted, ”As at 23 April 2020. Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed ”Total test done – 278, total confirmed cases – 11, no of active cases – 9 ”Discharged – 2, no of negative test – 187, no of pending test – 80, death -0.”
